Systems Engineer Consultant

Responsibilities
- Drive the development of innovative devices, focusing on advanced solutions, to support our client’s product portfolio.
- Ensure product compliance with relevant regulatory standards, particularly for safety and effectiveness.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Translate user and business requirements into technical specifications and high-level product designs.
- Oversee the integration and verification of system components to ensure seamless operation.
- Utilize systems engineering methodologies (such as V-model, FMEA, RMM) to manage product complexity and quality.
- Apply modeling and simulation tools to optimize product design and performance.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to resolve production issues and address customer feedback.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across various global locations.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, (Bio)Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a lead engineering role, managing complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Demonstrated experience in bringing products to market using systems engineering tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency with modeling and simulation software (preferably CREO, Ansys, Matlab, Cameo).
- Background in medical consumer product development or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience with requirements management tools (preferably DOORS).
- Strong analytical, abstract, and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proven motivational and persuasive abilities.
- Effective collaboration skills for working with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Design for Six Sigma (at least green belt certification).
- Strong quality mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-performance results.
