Mechatronics

Where Technology and Electronics come together.

Mechatronics is about machines that combine mechanics and electronics. Think of milking machines, welding robots, sorting machines and elevators. As a first mechatronics technician, you will learn how to assemble, disassemble and maintain these systems. You will gain insight into mechanics and electrical engineering.

What do we offer you?

Technology is one of the sectors with the most employment, so a job is guaranteed!

You will work three days a week with a suitable employer.

You learn two days a week in our unique practice center (at Firda in Drachten).

There is an apprenticeship and work contract throughout the duration of the training.

You receive a salary for 5 days of your working week, how nice do you want it? 

You have no study costs, because we take care of those.

You will receive practical knowledge that you can immediately apply in your work.

And because we work with small groups, you will be personally guided by experienced teachers.
