WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? 
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience in assembly techniques
- Good communication skills with the ability to cooperate with development, production, and supporting groups
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing, design for testability, PFMEA, and process/capability analysis like DfSS
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Develop and realize production equipment for assembly
- Review activities at suppliers
- Optimize/improve assembly production processes (automatic or manual assembly lines, assembly processes, handling/assembly equipment)
- Hand over equipment and processes to operations
- Ensure process and equipment capability meets specified requirements
