Integral Project Lead – Front End Innovation PMO, Grooming and Beauty
One sentence description of role:
Lead the development of next-generation innovative Grooming & Beauty propositions, products from concept to proven solutions, coordinating multidisciplinary teams within the Front-End Innovation (FEI)
Your role:
• Drive the impact of transforming consumer, business, and functional requirements into innovative Grooming & Beauty prepositions and solutions (or functions) within the FEI phase.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team VPC and AD Team, including consumer marketing managers, designers, product research managers product developers, function developers, and engineers, to translate project scope into planning, timing, and quality criteria.
• Identify gaps and implement improvements in the development approach, leveraging DfSS (Design for Six Sigma) methodology.
• Ensure projects are resourced effectively, building a winning team and steering the technical development engineering team from value proposition to function-proven products.
• Develop and optimize product functionality, performance, quality, reliability, cost, and manufacturability, ensuring robustness and durability.
• Map and manage stakeholders within the organization, using tailored communication plans and reporting project results and risks at various review meetings.
• Manage project budgets and ensure alignment with RoFo and AOP, utilizing QlikView for budget planning and forecasting.
• In collaboration with the FEI PMO Group, build project management competence, apply and improve project tools and methods, and contribute to Philips’ innovation in image-guided therapy systems for critical conditions.
You’re the right fit if:
1. Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in (consumer) product and proposition development or predevelopment. Drive for quality and innovation, comfortable working in an international environment. Ambitious leader, team player with good coordination and organizational skills. Strong background in managing international, multidisciplinary projects, preferably in consumer product development.
2. Skills : Strong project management skills, familiar with PMI PMBOK and DfSS methodologies. Experience in building strong propositions/consumer research / mechanical/electronics/software development and manufacturability aspects. Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
3. Education : Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a relevant technical field.
