As a Hardware System Support Specialist, you will focus on sustaining engineering activities for electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring instrument reliability, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will serve as the technical SME for Lab Automation diagnostic systems, overseeing serviceability, field readiness, and product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide escalated support for complex repairs and monitor global product health metrics.
  • Act as a liaison between Service and R&D to improve product performance and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain service documentation, spare parts, and tools for global field support.
  • Contribute to new product launches and field upgrades, ensuring service readiness.
  • Support training programs for field service teams and enhance customer support strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to optimize service operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years’ experience in OEM, medical devices, service engineering, or technical support.
  • Strong problem-solving & project management skills.
  • Experience in FDA/ISO-regulated environments is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% globally.
  • Familiarity with SAP, CAD, ServiceMax, and Salesforce is preferred.
