    Do you like to manage customer relationships and base your actions on data? Do you dot the ‘i’ to explain and discuss offers in the manufacturing industry at a detailed level? And do you have the ambition to grow into a management role in the long term? Then Variass is looking for you!

    Your network
    Your customers are high-tech companies, mainly in the medical and industrial markets. These are high-quality business partners who have a lot of knowledge themselves and sometimes also determine the design of the assignment. Variass ensures that customers can be successful in their business. Our principle is: “You have an idea, we have the solution.”

    You are with customers and prospects 1 to 2 days a week. The visits consist of maintaining relationships, expanding services, explaining quotations and then receiving them as an order. You work at the office in both Drachten and Veendam.

    You transfer this information to the engineers, so that all technical and substantive promises are secured and fulfilled. The quotation is then taken up by colleagues who draw up a material and labor calculation. There are also technical colleagues who analyze how the manufacturability of the product can be optimized. Based on this information, you prepare the quotation, discuss it with the customer, and receive technical support from the engineers. You keep an overview of all quotations issued and submit them to the commercial director for approval.

    There are weekly quotation consultations regarding material and labor calculations. This coordinates project progress. The KPIs are monitored monthly and you contribute to the preparation of reports.

    We are a data-driven organization and you are provided with data to analyze what contribution the orders and projects have ultimately made to Variass’ results.

There is a branch in Veendam and Drachten and there are sister companies, namely AME in Eindhoven and A1 Electronics in Almelo, with which we collaborate.

  • You have at least HBO+ working and thinking level and commercial experience in a technical setting.
  • You have good communication skills and master the English language.
  • You are visible and approachable as a full-fledged discussion partner for customers and colleagues.
  • You live within a reachable distance of Drachten and Veendam.
